Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 14, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how The Hubbly Corporation ("Hubbly," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information when you visit hubbly.io, contact us, request a scan or demo, or use a Hubbly service that links to this Policy. This is a draft policy for the current marketing site and proposed services; it should be reviewed by the owner and qualified counsel before production release.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, work email address, company, website, message, form selections, and the information included in a request for a scan, demo, early access, or other contact. If you book time with us through an enabled scheduling link, the scheduling provider may collect information you provide there under its own terms and privacy notice.
We may also receive technical and usage information from your browser or device, including IP address, browser and device characteristics, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, and event data about interactions with our site. This information may be collected through server logs, cookies, similar technologies, or measurement tools when those tools are enabled.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure our websites and services, respond to requests, evaluate business relationships, provide requested information, troubleshoot, improve our offerings, measure site performance where permitted, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations. We may combine information collected through the site with information from our business records where permitted by law.
- Respond to an inquiry, scan request, demo request, or early-access request.
- Communicate about a requested product conversation or relevant business update, subject to applicable marketing rules and your choices.
- Maintain, secure, and improve the website and related services.
- Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms.
Cookies, analytics, and your choices
We may use essential cookies or similar technologies needed for site operation and security. Optional measurement and advertising technologies, if introduced, are used only in accordance with applicable consent requirements. The site’s Privacy choices control is intended to let you review or change optional measurement preferences. Your browser settings may also allow you to manage cookies, although blocking certain technologies can affect site functionality.
If Vercel Analytics or Google Analytics is configured, it may process limited usage data for site measurement. Google Analytics is not loaded by this site unless a Google Analytics identifier is configured and the applicable consent condition has been met. We do not sell personal information for money. Whether a disclosure constitutes a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under a particular law can depend on the technologies and configuration in use.
Service providers and disclosures
We may disclose personal information to service providers that process information on our behalf under appropriate contractual or legal safeguards, as applicable. Depending on the features we configure, these providers may include Vercel for hosting or analytics, Cal.com for scheduling, Resend for email delivery, and Cloudflare Turnstile for form-abuse prevention. These services are used only if configured or activated for the relevant function.
We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process; to protect the rights, safety, and security of Hubbly, our users, or others; in connection with a corporate transaction; or with your direction or consent. We do not authorize service providers to use personal information for their own independent purposes except as permitted by their agreements and applicable law.
Retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to requests, operate and secure our services, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements. The appropriate period depends on the information, context, and applicable requirements; this Policy does not promise a fixed retention period.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No internet transmission, storage system, or security control is guaranteed to be completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through site forms unless we ask for it through an appropriate channel.
International transfers
Hubbly may process information in the United States and in other locations where we or our service providers operate. When required, we will use an appropriate transfer mechanism or safeguard for cross-border transfers.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We may need to verify your request and may decline or limit it where permitted by law.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Where Hubbly acts as a processor for a customer’s service data, requests about that data should generally be directed to the customer that controls it.
California privacy notice
California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information about personal information collected, used, or disclosed, subject to legal exceptions. California residents may also have the right to opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, if applicable. Hubbly does not knowingly sell personal information for money. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
To make a request, use the contact method below. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to verification of the agent’s authority and, where appropriate, your identity. This draft notice will be updated before launch if actual technology configuration creates additional California disclosure obligations.
Children and third-party links
Our website and services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the request.
The site may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as our practices, services, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version and update its date. Material changes may be communicated through the site or another appropriate method where required by law.
